Your Questions,
Answered
What is Executive Coaching?
Coaching helps you find your own answers rather than being told what to do. My role is to ask the questions that get you thinking differently, hold you accountable to what you decide and challenge assumptions when they don't hold up. It isn't mentoring or consultancy. Where you specifically ask for it, I can share relevant experience from my own career, but the agenda and the decisions stay yours.
What is your background?
I'm completing the Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching at Henley Business School and working towards ICF ACC accreditation, expected 2027. Before coaching, I spent 30+ years in senior technology and digital transformation leadership across financial services, media, market research and the charity sector.
I have built large target operating models from scratch, devised tech transformations and developed the careers of many senior directors in a corporate environment but also worked with serial founders and entrepreneurs. I have navigated mergers, acquisitions and one of the most successful IPOs on the LSE. Further, I am well versed in leveraging the many cultures in global organisations.
I am a Fellow of the BCS; with a BA (Hons) in Politics; an MSc in Software and Expert Systems Engineering; a charity Board Chair; and a sitting Justice of the Peace.
Starting with a discovery session, we agree what you want to work on and how you'll know it's working. From there, we meet regularly (typically every two to four weeks) with clear actions between sessions. Coaching is designed to make you think in a way you have never before - my style is unhurried and question-led. I create the space, you do the thinking and actions result. I coach in line with the ICF Core Competencies and treat everything you share as confidential. Sessions are usually 60 minutes.
How does it work?
Every engagement is different, but clients typically report sharper decision-making; more confidence handling difficult conversations; and clearer priorities within a few sessions. Longer-term outcomes such as promotions or successful transitions often follow over six to twelve months.
What results can I expect?
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, by video call, so location isn't a barrier.
“It was unexpected, provoked a new way of thinking and felt like I have ‘unlocked’ something to really explore.”

What have customers said?
What does it cost?
Special pricing, whilst working towards accreditation, depending on sector and personal circumstance (e.g. organisation-funded versus self-funded.). Prices are available for packages of sessions too.
